A Worldwide campaign to oppose violence against women and children
It aims to raise awareness about the negative impact of this kind of violence

When Is It?

The campaign is held every year from 25 November to 10 December

What Is Abuse?

Any behaviour that causes:

Fear
Bodily harm
Any person to do things against their will

Examples Of Abuse?

Emotional
Financial
Physical

Did You Know?

In South Africa, there are laws that protect the rights of individuals against abuse. Despite predetermined dates, the success of this campaign rests on our daily individual and collective actions to safeguard our communities and rid society of abuse permanently.
