Starting on Monday 28 November, Universal Paper hosted an Employee Health Week campaign. Three independent companies were on site to conduct tests and seminars.
Men’s Clinic International held group talks about male sexual health. They also offered employees an opportunity to ask any questions relevant to the topic.
The Foundation for Professional Development (FPD) provided free and confidential HIV Aids testing and counselling to staff who were tested voluntarily.
Spex Heidema also provided free eye testing, providing staff members with payment options in the event that they needed to receive spectacles.
All in all, it was a successful week with a focus being placed on employee health and wellness.
